Music Video
Music Videos are a media product that aims to promote the music artist in a particular way to their target audience. Music Videos should be treated in the same way as films and they are usually either one of the following:
Narrative: the music video contains a story or elements of a story.
Performance: the music video is a musical performance of the band/artist.
or a mixture of both.
TASK: Watch the following music videos and identify which one is the narrative and which one is the performance or both.
TASK 2: Find your own music videos (at least FIVE age appropriate) and answer the following questions for each of them in your books.

2. Explain how the artist/band appears to be representing themselves in the video.
3. How does the artist/band appeal to their target audience in the video? What is in the video that applies to who you think the audience are?
